How We Work
editorial & sourcing policy
Our guides are meant to be genuinely useful, honestly sourced, and compliant. Here is exactly how we research, write, and review them.
Who writes and reviews our content
Our ingredient guides are written by HealthFare nutrition staff and reviewed for accuracy before publication. Every article carries a named author. Where a licensed medical professional reviews an article, that reviewer is named separately.
Sourcing standards
We cite peer-reviewed human research wherever possible, prioritizing randomized controlled trials and meta-analyses, followed by observational human studies. Mechanism-of-action claims based only on animal or laboratory data are labeled as such. We link claims to their primary source (PubMed or a DOI) and report the actual findings, including limitations, rather than marketing paraphrase.
How we grade evidence
We use a simple three-tier system: clinical (human randomized trials or meta-analyses), observational (human population studies), and preclinical (animal or cell studies only). We do not present preclinical findings as if they were proven in people.
Claims and compliance
HealthFare products are dietary supplements, not drugs. Our content describes how ingredients may support the normal structure and function of the body. It does not claim to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice.
Corrections and updates
We review published guides at least every 12 months and when significant new research is published. If we find an error, we correct it and update the "last updated" date. To report an error, email support@healthfaregroup.com.
Conflicts of interest
HealthFare sells supplements, and our guides link to relevant products. We disclose this openly. Our editorial standard is that the science drives the content: we report what the research shows, including where evidence is weak or mixed, regardless of what we sell.
